Based in Shanghai, China, the GSM buyer will be responsible for supporting indirect material and service sourcing activities in Great China. This position will report to GSM China Manager. We are seeking an individual to take on this position of experienced buyer and deliver in the following areas:

? Fully understand the business strategy of AMD China FSO&RD and facilitate GSM manager working with key stakeholders to develop and implement GSM commodity sourcing strategy and plan in Great China
? Follow GSM strategy and plan to manage the procurement activities to ensure the organization goals/objectives are achieved.
? Manage day-to-day purchasing operations to secure the service level and internal control compliance
? Be responsible for the GSM system implementation, maintenance and enhancement in SHH.
? Deliver financial goal of overall spending reduction from the purchase transactions.
? Manage master vendor database and maintaining in good shape
? Supplier relationship management.
? Negotiate with suppliers
? Provide monthly report of indirect sourcing cost analysis and modeling.
? Special assignments


To be successful in this position and to lead the sourcing projects which will require rich experience in all the aspects in procurement field. Also this position should provide the innovative suggestions & solutions around cost management and business process efficiencies.

Qualification:
? Rich procurement experience for IT commodity
? Leadership with good communication and inter personal skills.
? More than 10 years working experience in multinational company and at least 5 years experience in indirect procurement field
? Rich procurement experience for IT commodity
? Advanced project management.
? E-purchase system knowledge, SAP etc.,
? Contract and agreement making process in sourcing.
? High-level negotiation skills on behalf of AMD and vendor management.
? Fluent in English and proficient in computer
? Bachelor degree in business administration or international trade or computer science, master degree preferred
