About Human Resources and Development:

Human Resources is in the process of moving to a shared services Human Resources model.
The key principles of this are:

  • Centralized strategy, policy and programme development to maximise total value to the firm through wider adoption of best practice and efficient resource utilization.
  • Decentralized client relationships to ensure that Human Resources understands, is fully integrated within the business, and can develop LoS -customized people management solutions as appropriate.

About Graduate Recruitment:

  • We are one of the largest Graduate Recruiters in China/ Hong Kong and we have recruited over 2,500 new graduates plus interns each year predominantly in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. To prepare PricewaterhouseCoopers for this recruitment volume, we must position ourselves as the "employer of choice" among candidates we pursue to hire the quantity and quality needed


Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Work with National Graduate Recruitment (GR) Leader to develop and implement national GR strategy and campaigns, within a one Firm context that makes PwC the "No. 1 Employer";
  • Plan, lead and closely monitor the implementation of national GR processes in North Region as well as national projects by working with external agencies, internal departments and local graduate recruitment teams. These projects include marketing campaign, Campus/professional bodies' relationship management as well as other innovative projects on graduate recruitment;
  • Develop and manage strong partnerships with key internal and external clients in Beijing including undergraduates, placement offices and professors of universities; and
  • Develop and coach reporting staff.


Reporting structure & key relationships:
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Human Resources

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • Solid graduate recruitment experience at managerial grade, preferably within a services or multi-national corporation environment;
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Strong networking, influencing and consultative skills with an ability to build strong client relationships;
  • Client service focused with demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative and flexibility;
  • Detail oriented and good organizational skills;
  • Self-driven and good problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task;
  • Proven project management and ability to think out of the box;
  • A "can do" attitude whose enthusiasm and energy is welcomed as part of the team; and
  • The ability and willingness to coach and develop other team members.
