JOB SUMMARY
Manage and lead a wide variety of manufacturing performance enhancing projects and assignments. Requiring a high degree of technical competence in food manufacturing environments to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of diary plant operations, while ensuring that safety and quality remain as the highest priority.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Responsible for the development and implementation of new and existing manufacturing processes and methodology within the plant to improve overall efficiency and asset utilization.
? Utilize knowledge of Groupe Danone manufacturing tools and measurements to analyze and refine existing processes that do not produce acceptable target results in a time, cost, and labor efficient manner.
? Responsible for maintaining the cycle of continuous improvement by analyzing performance indicators, communicating the gap to functional department managers, and developing the means of reaching the targets to ensure the plant is amongst the best in class.
? Develop operators to create a culture of fact-based decision-making and analytical skills. Establish strong working rapport with operators and line staff and establish excellent communication to lead training in operational procedures and processes.
? Work alongside with other functional department managers to ensure any changes are implemented cohesively, effectively and sustained.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
? Engineering Bachelor’s degree, 1-2 years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
? Proven, quantifiable success leading performance improvement projects.
? Computer literacy required.
? Able to communicate- oral and written- English.
? Ability to lead, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
? Ability to operate in a team environment.
? Ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
