Responsibilities

1. Manage customer quality complaints, conduct product failure analysis on defective samples/field returns to determine root cause, drive related functions for immediate measures, corrective actions & preventive solution, and follow up the effectiveness
2. Establish and implement the non- conforming product containment plans and problem elimination
3. Work closely with QE/QA to perform initial, in-process & outgoing inspections, carry testing and deliver reports to identify potential problems.
4. Work closely with QA to establish & maintain company quality standard & policy, improve control procedures & conduct audits
5. Work with the Application Engineering to perform failure analysis on customer returned products, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective action
6. Coordinate and cooperate with Engineering & Manufacturing to resolve customers’ quality issues, develop quality improvement programs, and support Sales for customer quality related issues
7. Analyze and troubleshoot product failures and identify areas for improvement.
   Verify/follow up process improvement plan.
8. Be a focal person to interact with internal departments on product return. Able to lead
   manufacturing counterparts to resolve customer issues and meet customer
   requirements.
9. Provide quality and reliability engineering support on manufacturing process and
   product changes. Distilling corrective and preventive actions to product development teams in design review meetings
10. Provide initial and finalize 8D reports to customers within the time limits
11. Form strong relationship with suppliers to improve product quality and ease of use in order to drive customer satisfaction, reduce returns and minimize the requirement for after sales support
12. Provide solutions in a timely manner
13. Liaise with Sales Team and suppliers. Visit suppliers when necessary
14. Provide feedback to other Engineers and Sales team on issues discovered prior and after the point of sales, resolving them quickly and effectively
15. Meeting with US on the progress of analysis
16. Provide regular progress update to the Manager and communicate directly with other technical engineers
17. Supervise RMA process, monitor and manage disposition of RMA material
18. Trend analysis of failure modes

Requirement:

1. Bachelor degree in electrical/electronic/science/mechanical/manufacturing/industrial/quality discipline

2. Minimum 5 years in related experience in quality field

3. Minimum 5 years experience in engineering / failure analysis

4. Minimum 3 years supervisory level

5. Broad working knowledge of manufacturing, quality control, and material functions

6. Extensive Consumer Care experience and project management skill

7. Strong leadership skill and good interpersonal skill

8. Proactive, outgoing, result-oriented, good communication & presentation skills, able to handle customer challenge

9. Strong problem solving and analytical ability, lead problem solving independently

10. Hand-on experience of applying quality tools(FMEA, SPC) 6-sigma methodologies with strong statistical concepts

11. Solid experience with electro-mechanical products & assemblies, process engineering and SOP documentation

12. Good English in both oral and written English
