General Position Summary:
Responsible for providing engineering support for all aspects of manufacturing printed circuit assembly and high level Assembly . Provide technical leadership in the engineering group.

Authority Statement:
Has the authority to make decisions and take action in the development, analysis, and sustaining of new products and processes.

Primary Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Ensures manufacturability of new products.
Supports and improves existing manufacturing systems.
Qualifies and implements new manufacturing technologies.
Assists in training production personnel on new processes.
Assists QA Department in developing workmanship criteria.
Ensures customer requirements are built into their product.
Provide day to day engineering support to Production.
Participates in new product development implementation team.

Supervisory Responsibility:
Supervises Equipment Engineers/Process Engineers / Technicians.

Specific Job Skills:
Strong written and oral communication skills in English, especially in the area of engineering analysis and spec writing.
Sound knowledge and skills in PCBA wave soldering and system assembly processes.
Strong oral communication skills across all levels within the organization.

Education and/or Experience:
Degree in engineering discipline with at least six years’ experience in process / manufacturing engineering in PCBA or electronic product manufacturing environment. At least two years in managerial position experiences.
