JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for plant manufacturing operations including production planning, on-time delivery, quality, shop floor management, production equipment’s update and maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Duties:

l Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the mosteffective return on assets.

l Initiative plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization ofmanpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.

l Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports Tyden’s corporate strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

l Assure attainment of businessobjectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed ourcustomers’ expectations.

l Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problemsolving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis.

l Encourage, coach and train useof best practice techniques and focus on fact based problem solving.

l Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes.

l Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume and shipment schedulingto allow for maximum return on efficiencies.

l Routinely update plant activities and KPI to site and corporate management team.

Employees Management:

l Assure that collective bargaining agreements are effectively administered and that employeegrievances are addressed in a timely fashion.

l Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include allemployees’ positive involvement with opportunity for constructioninput and action.

l Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employeesafety attitudes.

l Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.

l Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and production managementconcepts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

l 4 year degree and above; technical field, preferred degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, and automation engineering.

l 10year experience in a high productionand hard good manufacturing environment with 5 years of managerial experience.

l Strong leadership skills, strong in business ethics and moral, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities andexcellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.

l A team player with good communication and inter-personal skills.

l Must be fluent in both English and Chinese.

l High energy level required.
