Mission:

Based on safety situation to implement all maintenance/repair activities to the mechanical equipment and facilities in the process units, assure the production line operating safely and stably by providing technical support timely.
The employee is expected to participate to carry out the emergency response procedures of the plant and to perform other duties when required.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Perform preventive maintenance and/or handle troubleshooting to all mechanical equipment / piping line system in production unit.
2. Take part in commissioning and start-up of new project.
3. Take part in installation, commissioning of small project or modification.
4. Perform routine inspection to all mechanical equipment, piping system and other facilities etc.
5. Full compliance with the HSE policy of the plants and ensure all work practices are carried in accordance to the specified requirements. Especially to follow Permit-To-Work and Lock Out/ Tag Out procedure.
6. Identify potential hazard and risk associated during the routine maintenance activities and to perform Job Safety Analysis with supervisors, contractor and process operators prior commencement of work.
7. Finish other assigned work.

Competencies Required:

1. Can repair/maintain universal mechanical equipment and piping system independently, such as pump, blower, gear box, agitator, filter , heat exchanger etc.
2. With good knowledge of material in CS, SS, plastic etc.
3. Basic safety/quality knowledge in hot work, lifting, Scaffold, Insulation & Painting.
4. HSE Knowledge in Job Safety Analysis.
5. Good ability in communication and team work.
6. Flexible and hardworking characteristics are essential, can handle pressure situations.

Qualifications:

1. Educational background:
? A relevant qualification from technical college and above.
2. Work experience:
? Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in Chemical or petrochemical plant. Previous working experience in a JV or foreign capital environment would be an advantage.
3. Language proficiency:
? Good English reading skill.
4. PC skills:
? Well working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
