FongChen Plastics is seeking a Lab Technician for projects involving our U.S. based customers in our Wujiang, P.R.C. facility. Duties and responsibilities include:

· Collecting, reviewing and validating data for accuracy and completeness and making recommendations to engineering in the performance of pressure washer, water pumps and portable generators.

· Interface with Product Engineers, other lab technicians, and Supervisors on updates/new test procedures, equipment and methods.

· Verify the calibration and maintenance of test equipment and test cells in accordance with procedures.

· Install and maintain products on test stands, hook up instrumentation, conduct tests, change product parts if necessary, and remove engine and instrumentation.

· Basic fabrication skills required for test fixtures and instrumentation mounting.

Minimum of 3 years experience or vocational training in a technology field related to automotive or engines. Experience in engine/powertrain dynamometer testing or other similar testing techniques a plus. Basic understanding of instrumentation used in an engine test environment, such as pressure transducers, thermocouples, etc. and a basic background in engine troubleshooting and ability to read schematics/wiring diagrams highly preferred. Good interpersonal, oral and written skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / SPECIFICATIONS:

-Fluent in Mandarin & English. Ability to read, write and speak in both languages.
-Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
-Pro-E Wildfire experience a MUST
-Background in generator or IC engine design a plus
-Experience within the automotive supply base.
