Report to General manager

Key Responsibilities:

1) Be in charge of process, quality and R&D activities of optical fiber preforms.
2) Lead troubleshooting any technical and process problem;
3) Lead all activities including yield improvement, defects reduction, process optimization etc;
4) Lead quality management system. Develop and maintain SOPs of manufacturing process;
5) Analyze quality defects source correlating to customer complaints;
6) Train and coach engineering team;
7) In charge of process safety of existing operation and new operation.
8) Daily contact with operation, key suppliers and key customers.

Key Requirements:

1) Bachelor degree or above, majoring in physics or engineering related.
2) At least 10 years of engineering work experience;
3) Experience in manufacturing industry, above five years of work experience in technical supervision position;
4) Good knowledge and application experience on Six Sigma tools, or Lean manufacturing.
5) Strong analytical skills.
6) Sound understanding of ISO9001: 2000 with the ability to audit all areas of system requirements;
7) Good English, both in oral and writing;
8) Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with diverse levels.
9) Good at Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other general office softwares.
