Responsibilities:

1. Design multi-layer printed circuit board layouts incorporating the latest fabrication and assembly standards.

2. Collaborate with mechanical, design, fabrication, manufacturing and test engineers for a functional, cost effective layout.

3. Participate and provide input during design reviews at key points during the layout process.

4. Develop, check and release full documentation packages as required per work instructions and project requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Associate Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.

2. Understand how to layout digital, analog and power supply circuits.

3. Basic understanding of electrical schematic symbols and functions.

4. Ability to create dimensioned drawings for release.

5. Possess functional knowledge of IPC guidelines.

6. 3+ years of previous experience designing printed circuit boards, Mentor Graphics Expedition CAD software.

7. Working knowledge of AutoCAD software.

8. IPC CID (Certified Interconnect Designer-Basic) and CID+ (Advanced)

9. Experience using Valor, SAP and GerbTool software

Position Requirements:

1. Willingness to travel 5% of the time

2. Must be diligent, thorough and detail oriented

3. Must be flexible in work hours to meet project timelines
