Essential Responsibilities:

1. To make preparation and take lead throughout the sequential stages of development: Engineering Verification (EV), Design Verification (DV), Process Verification (PV), and Start of Production launch (SOP). Feedback manufacturiblity and issue to R&D designer.
2. To review new component drawing and liaison with related supportive departments and vendors for DFM of new components design.
3. To build engineering samples and perform necessary testing and measurement for data collection and evaluation.
4. To maintain necessary project documentation timely to ensure smooth handover of project to operation. Documentation includes BOM, Process Flow Chart, Draft Control Plan, ECO/DCN & etc. ？
5 To perform Failure Analysis and root cause investigation and introduce corrective/preventive action in the development of reliable manaufcturing process.
6 Provide continuing technical support for product in SOP level and provide guidance for the resolution of various issues from customer and factory, as required.
7 To perform capability study of new equipment before purchase and perform qualification and buy-off after purchase.
8 Support departmental initiatives and activities as directed by the department supervisor.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Degree/ Diploma in engineering or equivalent technical degree desirable.
2. Basic knowledge and experience on speaker design, assembly, handling of acoustic measurement instrument is a MUST.
3. 4-5 years of previous experience in audio related manufacturing industries with preference to project management.
4. Experience and exposure to technical liaison with machining workshops and parts vendors is preferred.
5. Requires Basic PC skills in using Microsoft programs and experience with the application of Solid Work software is an added advantage.
6. Manual dexterity and lifting ability needed to receive and unpack, and/or build up and pack samples as needed.
