-For our Industry Sector in SUZHOU,we are looking for a Design Engineer 设计工程师_LBS - 苏州西门子电器有限公司.

What are my responsibilities?

- Develop Design Alternatives in teamwork between the internal departments, Business Unit and with R&D colleagues in Germany. Evaluate the alternatives and realize the selected solution;

- Be responsible for redesign and special customer application for the existing products;

- Development about new products, the redesign and special customer application for the existing products, Reverse engineering, DTC;

- Responsible for the product performance analysis, technical feasibility study and evaluation;

- Create the Feature Specification for new project based on the Requirement from PM;

- Compile the related technical documentation and specification for products;

- Optimize the existing products in order to improve quality, performance, application, cost;

- Take part in analysis, determination, correction and prevention of quality problems of new and existing products;

- Support the localization project for local material, production, etc;

- Analyze the current market situation in cooperation with SLC Business Unit and colleagues from the R&D/PM Centers in Germany;

- Support other internal departments as well as the Business Unit and the sales force in the regions in respect to technical questions and evaluations;

- Ensure continuity of work in case of absence.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

-Bachelor and above in Electrical engineering and Mechanical engineering

-Experience of at least 2 years (University) in LV switchgear technical fields or master education

-Experience of at least 1 year in research / product development

-Basic products knowledge in Low voltage switchgear and good knowledge in PLM Processes

-Good knowledge in material, tooling and manufacturing

-Good CAD and Design tools skills

-Good communication skills and team work spirit

-Good English communication
