1. Job Summary:
1) Responsible for assembly or test process improvement, new process introduction;
2) Responsible for transfer new or redesigned product from R&D to manufactures line.
3) Coordinate yield/quality improvement, MRO cost reduction, 2nd source supplier/supplier localization related projects.
4) Work together with cross-function team to solve product issues.
5) Coaching NPI engineer and NPI technician to achieve working goal.
6) Occasional overseas travel may be required.

2. Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Work with R&D personnel to introduce new product/process into manufacture and to improve existing products;
2) Research, develop, and recommend process improvements to improve quality, output, and product performance;
3) Initiates and implements cost reduction ideas, product changes and redesigned products; issues appropriate specifications and coordinates special feasibility projects.
4) Work together with other dept. to improve product yield, reduce cost etc.
5) Assists Marketing and Quality Assurance in solving customer complaints regarding product problems.
6) Provides guidance and training to new & inexperienced engineers.
7) Utilize six sigma methods to measure and propose process improvements
8) Occasional travel is required to our subcontract manufacturers both locally and overseas.

3. Job Specifications
1) Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent;
2) Requires a self-motivated individual that has the ability to coordinate complex projects and processes;
3) Good communication and interpersonal skills, Team and detailed oriented personality;
4) Above 5 years working experiences
5) Strong background in semiconductor physics, process and module (Die bonding, wire bonding, etc) knowledge and experience or strong background in SMT process is preferred;
6) Ability to identify and implement plans to manage changes in processing technology as defined by regional and global technology groups;
7) Personal computer skills are required, and knowledge of associated applications such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases and project planning software is necessary;
8) Fluent in English both spoken and written
