GENERAL SUMMARY: The overarching purpose of the Asian TPE Product Manager role is to maintain profitability through effective, value based pricing techniques, monitoring price drivers and reacting appropriately with profitable revenue growth in mind. The Asian TPE Product Manager will work closely with other Product Managers and General Manager to coordinate pricing actions and share best practices. This role is expected to support new product introduction, portfolio management and product positioning, and help train and manage commercial channels in the region. This is a key role within the growing Asian TPE business and is counted upon to support annual planning, strategic planning and monthly forecasting activities.


Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
？ Demonstrated product management and pricing experience
？ Negotiating skills, ability to establish credibility with customers and sales representatives and defend unpopular decisions to achieve business objectives
？ Some knowledge of TPE applications and chemistry, knowledgeable on Asian TPE market/or other specialty field with fast learning skills
？ Ability to communicate both business and technical information to a variety of audiences
？ Proficiency in data analysis, good analytical skills
？ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP
？ Skilled in setting priorities
？ Experience creating business and growth plans
？ Proven commerical successes on new product launches
？ Excellent communication skills
？ Able to comminicate with high level management, internal but especially externally
？ Ability to lead/influence the organization, build teams, and coach team members.
？ Successful project management and priority management experience
？ Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
？ Problem solving skills, innovative
？ Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, able to work in a matrix organization and with international colleagues
？ Bachelors degree required. Technical Bachelors degree strongly preferred
？ Ability to speak, read and write fluently English
？ Ability to speak, read and write fluently Chinese/Mandarin
？ Ability to speak, read and write additional languages is a plus

Required Length & Type of Experience:
？ Minimum of 5 years experience with specialty products and markets, ideally in sales or business development
？ TPE experience is a strong plus, ability to learn quickly is a must
