KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1) Oversees integrity of product quality for assigned area through participation as integral part of manufacturing team.

2) Drives and champions quality improvement efforts.

3) Provides expert analysis, guidance and support to Production in Process Improvement activities, including effective use of Problem-Solving tools / techniques and statistical analysis.

4) Responsible for series production qualification, and verification of changes to current product.

5) Through the application of APQP, supports AQE in New Product development.

6) Insures that CQE needs for CCM are met in a timely and functional manner.

7) Results for this position will be measured by improvements to Customer Satisfaction and Internal Scrap rate.

8) Optimizes Process Capability on significant characteristics through effective application of statistical analysis techniques and training of Production in Problem-Solving.

9) Applies knowledge of Inspection Equipment and Techniques to provide timely data usable for informed decision-making.

10) Utilizes analytical skill sets to implement root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective action.

11) Employees should strictly abide the EHS rules and regulations and behavior guide line in the plant; wear PPE in right way; actively participate in EHS training; do housekeeping at work; report accidents and unsafe issues immediately, join the accident disposal. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1) Requires a Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; and a combination of five years Manufacturing Engineering /Quality Assurance experience in the automotive industry.

2) Must have demonstrated knowledge of process quality control, inspection equipment and techniques, root cause failure analysis, capability studies, statistical distributions, machining and assembly processes, problem solving, team facilitation, geometric dimensioning and tolerance, and CAD preferred.

3) Knowledge of ISO/TS16949 required.

4) Experience with report writing in Microsoft Word and graphical analysis in Microsoft Excel strongly preferred.

5) Experience in Minitab for statistical analysis preferred.
