职位描述

PURPOSE:
Interact with US based project management team, Asia based sales team, product development team and operations to ensure smooth product development and program implementation. Work with Sourcing team and vendors on costing, sampling and all the way to delivery of first production order.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of PACCESS services initiatives for both U.S. based Branded Consumer Product companies and Major Retailers and all businesses initiated in Asia.

The primary responsibilities will include :

? Lead Project Manager – Provide leadership and mentorship to a list of U.S. & Asia based project management . Responsible for the performance evaluations and coaching for up to 5 direct reports.

? Packaging development interface – act as the primary interface between the Asia based project management and the Asia based packaging development team to ensure work is adequately scoped. Responsible for all projects under his / her list of supervision.

? Process Design and improvement – Work with U.S. to define, initiate and implement new and improved processes for all project management and implementation activities

? Sales support and management – Responsible for managing complex and global projects which requires leading different people across different functions and offices. Also act as the primary interface between the sales team and the Technical Services, Asia to ensure work is adequately screened and scoped and is in alignment with PACCESS’ strategic direction and capabilities.

SCOPE:
Highly self driven and motivated. Position requires proven ability to manage multiple and complex projects efficiently and with thorough follow-up. Decisions made will have an impact on the profitability of the company. Extensive communications with internal and external contacts. Contacts within the company are usually with all departments. Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information. Responsible for account activity of several million dollars annually. Some domestic and Asia Pacific travel may be required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
? Four-year college degree,
? Two to four years previous experience in managing sales and marketing activities through implementation.
? Three to five years cross-functional business processes experience (finance, accounting, business development, product development, demand fulfillment, marketing, pricing, quality management, inventory management, etc.)
? Three to five years previous experience managing global large-scale projects including initial short-term/long-term planning to prioritizing, tracking and delegating to execution and profitability analysis.
? Three to five years experience in leading globally dispersed teams to engage in behavior that supports the goals of the business unit and the organization
? Ability to recommend or initiate personnel actions such as training, hiring, promotions, transfers, discharges, disciplinary measures and to support those recommendations with facts.
? Ability to work and adapt independently in a rapidly changing and uncertain business environment
? Must have the ability to exercise independent decision-making with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Outstanding written and oral communications with Customers, Business Partners, Suppliers, and Executives, Directors, Managers, and Staff.
? Ability to scope and implement large scale global operations (order to cash & purchase to pay).
? Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint software

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY
? Experience in developing comprehensive responses to formal Requests for Proposals for large scale change programs
? General knowledge of supply chain services methodology, processes, and modeling as well as packaging design, development and transportation. Specific areas include: factory sourcing, distribution center operations, freight logistics and inventory management, sourcing and services business models.
? General knowledge of financial analysis (financial and cost accounting, budgeting, P&L, intermediate to advanced math skills)
? General knowledge of sales proposal, targeting, pipeline prioritization, and pricing concepts and methodologies
? Working knowledge of ERP (Oracle), data warehousing, IT systems and supplier/customer facing applications.
? Proven ability to write effective business documents and to verbally communicate them to interested parties
? Superior customer service skills
? Experience packaging or print industry experience an asset
