职位描述

PURPOSE:
The role of the Senior Project Manager is to work in conjunction with the global project management team to plan, organize, and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. To foresee and control any potential risks as early as possible and to manage complex and diverse activities across functional teams. To provide directions, leadership, and mentorship to junior team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary interface between various internal teams ensuring work is adequately scoped and responsibilities are clearly understood by all parties.
Ensures all projects under his/her supervision meet set timelines, budget and quality.
Effectively plan, lead and manage the project team in China. Responsible for providing supervision, guidance, direction, and mentoring to insure effectiveness. Proactively manages performance and succession planning. Plans for long term needs, analyzing staffing levels and resource allocation in light of changing business objectives.
Determines business processes for continued improvement and evaluation of performance of project management teams. Insures that expectations and commitments are met by providing clear direction to team members.
Suggests improvements to the process workflow, effectiveness, and efficiency between internal departments and external customers. Works as part of team to establishes tools and business strategies.
Continually stays abreast of industry and technology trends and by facility the transfer of knowledge and best practices within the Project Team and across departments
Establishes communication channels which contribute to efficiencies between departments and team members. Clarify relationships between jobs, avoiding overlaps, and gaps in responsibility. Effectively communicates status, expectations, and deliverables to team members and stakeholders.
Responsible for assessing needs and designing plans aimed at improving processes and services that are consistent and in alignment with the organizations strategic plan.

SCOPE
Position requires the ability to work with a high degree of complexity due to the different marketing and business development strategies employed by a variety of global customers. Responsible for developing policies and objectives and ongoing business development. Success or failure impacts company profitability and global competitive positioning. Responsible for budgeting and short- and long-term strategic planning. Job is performed with very little direction from others. Regular interaction with senior level positions internally and externally is required.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Senior Project Coordinator(s), Project Coordinator(s), Cost Analyst

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
University graduate in business or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
At least 5 year’s solid experiences in project management, customer service and/or operations with experience managing and leading a team. Must understand the basics of packaging and/or print processes.
Proven program management skills demonstrating the ability to manage scope, cost, time, quality, risk, resources, and deliverables.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills both in English (written and oral) and in local language.?
Proven ability to analyze problems independently and develop solutions.
Comfortable to work with senior managers both internal and external.
Strong and effective leadership and management skills
Strong organizational skills, ability to set goals, maintain focus and follow through
Ability to work under limited direction
Proven ability to multi task and prioritize responsibilities. Must possess the ability to manage workload in a fast paced environment with competing demands and shifting priorities without compromising quality of work product.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
Excellent interpersonal and decision making skills. Proven creative problem solving skills.
A history of following multiple tasks to completion.
A background in customer service.
Demonstrated positive attitude, self-motivated, team player.
Must have demonstrated strong conflict resolution skills.
Excellent PC knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
May travel to customer location.
May require availability for evening or after hours conference or international phone calls.
