The Duties of the Financial Controller:
Reporting directly to the CFO and indirectly to the CEO, the Financial Controller will have the primary responsibility for :
(1) Maintaining accurate books and records for the entire enterprise;(2) Managing all members of the accounting department; (3) Insuring that proper procedures and controls are in place at the company to allow proper safeguarding of all financial assets.

List of Primary Job Responsibilities:
(1) Maintenance and supervision of the company's accounting system (Quickbooks)
(2)Insuring that proper procedures and controls are designed to ensure the safeguarding of financial assets
(3) Insuring that the proper financial controls are in place and operating effectively
(4) Accurate and timely closing of the accounting books and records on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
(5) Publishing and distributing to upper management, the board of directors and lenders monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
(6) Preparing annual budgets and monitoring how the company is performing comparing to budget
(7) Supervision of the process of reconciling all cash accounts on a monthly basis
(8) Supervision of the timely and proper filing of all Chinese tax reports
(9) Supervision of the accounts payable system to insure that all liabilities are captured and recorded accurately and timely
(10) Supervising the billing and accounts receivable process and making sure sales persons are aware of past due receivables
(11) Control of coffee shops petty cash accounts and weekly reconciliation of such accounts
(12)Maintenance of an accurate inventory system including monthly physical accounts and reconciliation
(13) Coordination with outside audit firms and other regulatory firms
(14) Insuring that proper insurance policies are maintained for facilities and personnel
(15) Proper reconciling on intercompany account balances

Other Matters
(1) It is desirable that the candidate have a good grasp of the English language (both written and oral)
(2) It is desirable that the candidate has a CPA certificate (Chinese equivalent) or be pursuing such certification
(3) It is desirable that the candidate have both corporate/company accounting and public accounting experience
(4) Primary location is Xining and some travel to coffee store locations may be required
(5) College degree in accounting required
