Currently there is a new opportunity for a Country Manager/ Channel Distribution Director to join a reputable brand in Shanghai.
Having recently won the distribution license for an international label, this company is preparing for significant expansion across China within the next year. This position gives the successful candidate the ability to have full autonomy to make and implement decisions.
This as a rare opportunity for a candidate at Sales/Channel Director level to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities in this role include but is not limited to:
- breaking into the China retail market using creativity, strategy and flawless execution
- focus on increasing purchase volume and revenue as well as execute business development activities in a highly competitive market
- manage the financial performance and growth
- maintain positive, beneficial, and constructive relationships with key client contacts
- develop strategies and coordinate product development functions to suit market and consumer needs
- manage country financial performance, forecast, and budgets.
Requirements include but is not limited to:
- establish and maintain positive, beneficial, and constructive relationships with key client contacts
- develop strategies and coordinate product development functions to suit market and client needs by working with local and global team
- develop strategies and coordinate product, client and brand marketing initiatives in conjunction with global and local marketing team
- manage country financial performance, forecast, and budgets.
- retail experience is crucial
- skilled in collaborating, influencing, and negotiating at executive levels
- strong sales management skills and proven track record in building high performing sales/key account teams
- proven ability to attract, hire and retain a high performing team that can achieve strong business results
- able to provide appropriate leadership, structure, coaching, training and development
