Job Description Title: Industrial engineer Effective Date:

Reports to: Operation Director Status: FULL-TIME

JOB SUMMARY

Manage new product and product improvement engineering process, design manufacturing product specification consistent with manufacturing techniques and business standards;

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Develop and maintain equitable standards in assigned areas with appropriate documentation, for assigned facilities.

2.Develop standard methods for assigned areas; provide methods for assigned areas.

3.Assist production supervision and planning to provide proper line balancing, based on standard data for assigned area, in all facilities.

4.Assist in providing product costing with appropriate standards for new models and costing.

5.Investigate, analyze, and cost justify process improvements as assigned.

6.Continually strive to improve methods and reduce costs while maintaining corporate levels of quality and safety.

7.Initiate layout changes and provide input about workflow as warranted.

8.Analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product.

9.Develops manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. New product manufacturing specification design & engineering;
2. Existing product modification & improvement;
3. Technical documentation;

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1.Education
？ Required –college degree and above.

2.Experience
？ 3-5 years related experience;
？ Familiar with fabric printing (Digital printing, sublimation, manual & auto screen printing, embossing), cutting, sewing & packing operations.


3.Knowledge of:
？ Product design & engineering tools.
？ IE tools: error proofing, motion study, process engineering, 50/50, man & machine interaction, sampling, ergonomic study;
？ Lean Manufacturing Concepts;
？ GSD knowledge will be big advantage(具备GSD知识优先考虑);

4.Skills and Abilities
？ Excellent organizational skills
？ Excellent decision-making and follow-through skills
？ Ability to communicate with all organizational levels
？ Skilled in conflict management and resolution
？ Skilled in prioritizing multiple directives within changing work demands
？ Skilled in problem solving
？ Skilled in computer software such as Excel, Word, PP and EMAIL

Involves working in general manufacturing conditions where there are frequently moving products. These conditions also include working in an area where there is moderate noise from the manufacturing processes present and without air conditioning.
