Key Responsibilities:

1. Involve in Pre Opening, Project Development, and Operating the purchasing areas for the Retreat and Spa, Village and Shanghai Center.

2. Responsible for setting up the procurement Policies and Procedures and systems within the Living Octave organization

3. Ensure the best quality of supplies and the greatest value combining resources and build and also form a good and long term relationships with suppliers

4. Choose suppliers with similar philosophy to Living Octave and align with Brand and Values

5. Responsible for the day to day operations of the Purchasing department

6. Responsible to recruit, train and manage his employees

Minimum requirements:

1. More than 10 years experience Operated as a Purchasing Manager in the Hospitality Industry in a Corporate role or Luxury Resort hotel role in the Shanghai/Suzhou area

2. The basic degree in Hotel Management or Accounting

3. Must have:

· Pre opening experience.

· Established network in the local Industry

· Established list of accredited suppliers

· Hospitality Industry preferably an International Resort brand.

· Spa Industry

· Real Estate or Construction Purchasing experience ideal

· China exposure or experience with knowledge of the Shanghai market an advantage

4. Communication in Chinese and advanced English

5. Good interpersonal & negotiating skills

6. Strong leadership and communication skills

7. Service Orientated mindset
