职位描述
What you do:
Management of the seasonal purchasing budget
o Lead pre-season guidance and post-season hindsight to product purchasing plans by season; at family level and for key items to achieve sales plan
o Cooperate with the Finance Department to obtain sales numbers per season
o Check if life-curve of each product is accurate and update in the system, in collaboration with PM
o Assortment Plan: prepare and update it on a regular basis according to the revised budget and reforecast
o Prepare quantity to orders and setting up
o Oversee the planning schedule; ensure that set up period is on time.
Control of the purchasing budget
o Drive the “Buying authorization” process and develop recommendations when any discrepancies.
o Control and update on a weekly basis the TDB in order to support Product Managers throughout the purchasing process
o Implement & monitor all the indicators in Storeland before launching the collection and during the season,
Analyze and follow up of sales performance & products
o Provide specific performance analyses per family,
o Ensure the accuracy of sales performance analyses,o Update and follow-up the purchasing strategy; control market share, discount rate, margin rate, target, revised by period and by family,
o Manage business trends for sales and gross margin performance.
Ensure the target achievement
o Collaborate with Product Managers in order to achieve objectives and targets set at the beginning of the season,
o Alert if notice any deviance that may curb the objectives achievement,
o Propose action plan for next seasons in order to adapt products to the customers’ demand,
o Seek opportunities for new business approaches and drive analytical needs to increase productivity and profitability,
o Build plans for each new store down to the article and unit count that maximizes sales and profit
What we expect you have:
- 2 years + experience in Retail Company, understand retail math
- Pro-active and self-starter
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, good ability to manage cross-functional process
- Experience with a merchandise planning system is a plus
