Global Operations Finance, the GE China Corporate Finance CoE team, with a scale of more than 500 people, was established in May 2012. Aiming to bring together a team of excellence worldwide. GOF builds and executes world-class processes across the company ( including source to pay, fixed assets, record-to-report, invoice-to-cash, customs, payroll, T&L, stat-to-tax) to better serve GE business operations in and beyond China.

Role Summary/Purpose

The Black Belt will demonstrate accountability for GOF, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop business processes to implement finance supply chain to achieve GOF Opx. Drive speed, cost and quality improvement across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be able to drive LEAN transformation across GOF through LSS deployment.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition, you will:
• Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional team empowered to execute the Lean Six Sigma strategy and tools to improve process efficiency and eliminate defects
• Deliver breakthrough levels of improvement in process capability, productivity to reduce defects and attain world-class levels of quality through completion of a training program on Lean Six Sigma philosophy, theory, and application tools / tactics
• Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools
• Work with product line leaders and teams to uncover and assess lean Six Sigma opportunities for GE and its suppliers
• Serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma quality in conjunction with the Master Black Belts and Quality Champions
• Constantly seek, share, and implement best practices
• Communicate teams’ progress to Champions, Business Leaders, and Master Black Belts
• Educate, coach, and mentor Green Belts and others on Lean Six Sigma philosophy and application
• Identify potential process improvement projects

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Process Improvement position
