In this position, the individual will be responsible for developing new package requirements and maintaining quality of existing packages for all product groups. The individual will define package requirements for product groups and customer requirements, develop new package and process qualification programs, and perform integrity analysis of packages using appropriate tools. In addition, the individual will perform package characterizations (including cost effectiveness studies), act as a liaison with vendors, maintain product quality while developing and introducing package cost reduction programs, and coordinate the introduction of new package processes into production. Lastly, the individual will prepare and/or update specifications for piece parts of integrated circuits or semiconductor assemblies.

This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 3 or more years of related experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
