职位描述
Requirement:
1. A university degree or College Diploma in Mechanical / Plastics Engineering.
2. Minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Have sound knowledge of the injection molding process. Processing experience and mold building experience is an asset to be successful.
4. It is recommended for the incumbent to have previous sales experience within the plastics industry.
5. Be able to speak and write the language appropriate to the geographic area assigned with competency in business English being an asset.
6. Have the ability to read, analyze engineering drawings, mold prints, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations.
7. Ability to interpret and act on procedures, policies and documents such as pricing, job status forms, customer relations, sales forecasting and troubleshooting.
8. Have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general staff in order to influence and negotiate.
9. Be able to cultivate positive relationships with both customers and internal staff, along with working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibility:
1. Co-ordinate and execute a targeted plan of action to develop and grow sales in the Asia Region (includes cold calls) in support of corporate goals and objectives.
2. Provide management with sales updates for the territory as well as quarterly and annual forecasts.
3. Provide quarterly or bi-annual account review and plans to management.
4. Work with the Inside Sales Manager to develop account strategy and presentation material that demonstrates to prospects and customers how to achieve improved productivity and financial return through acquisition of MPET products and technology. Use the understanding of business implications of industry trends and competitive activity in the account, applies the value proposition and can draw distinctions between the competitor and MM during the sales activities or sales calls.
5. Successfully manages multiple relationships in assigned accounts and has a thorough understanding of customer strategic priorities, organization, processes and business operations,
6. Identifies new sales opportunities in prospects and under-penetrated customers accounts and communicates results to appropriate internal stakeholders
7. Ensure that all efforts, communications, transactions, and exchanges of information are continually supporting the corporate vision.
8. Abide by any procedures and policies as communicated by corporate.
9. Communicate with the MPET Inside Sales Manager to keep MPET informed of any and all market developments,
10. Gather all technical requirements for the given application using provided guiding checklists and work with the MPET Inside Sales Manager to ensure successful application of the MPET Product or Technology.
11. Represent Mold-Masters to customers at tradeshows and other events.
12. Participate in design reviews as per the request of customers and / or MPET Engineering. Assist all customers from a technical perspective.
13. Constantly develop and expand own technical knowledge and experience.
14. Report Service Issues, Field Service or Corrective Action Requirements to the MPET Inside Sales Manager within 12 hours of finding the incident or customer reporting it.
15. Communicate regularly with customer to gather information and forward changes to marketing.
16. Complete, in a timely manner, all administrative duties such as, reports and expenses.
17. Provide all pertinent background information to the Service Coordinator.
18. Provide sales number updates for territory and annual forecast.
19. Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvement.
20. Ensure ISO guidelines are followed.
21. Providing services and support to internal and external customers, suppliers.
22. Develop the sales strategy for the assigned Asia region.
23. Interacts with other team members to achieve retention of current customers as well as developing leads into new customers.
24. Communicating to other team members and management when there is concern regarding an account.
25. Manage expenses appropriately and submission of same in the timely manner.
26. Complete the required training and/or acquired hands-on experience that will allow them to successfully interact with internal and external customers.
