Job Summary:
Supervises all activities in the plant related to the effective production of quality products according to production schedules and within optimum cost limits while controlling other daily plant operations. Responsible for Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors Production in the KES facility. Responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality that is consistent with customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervises and administers the daily activities of the Production Supervisors.
2. Lead and deploy lean manufacturing to build up and continuous improve production system
3. Analyzes product/process problems and develop solutions to the problems.
4. Develops and implements plans regarding capacity, materials, special orders, new equipment, new products and labor requirements and cost reduction. Reviews daily build schedule in accordance with contract review procedure.
5. Controls inventory and workflow and determine the required personnel and man-hours to achieve production objectives and to meet delivery commitments.
6. Develops and implements training of production employees for a variety of issues including new products and processes, safety, hazardous materials, ISO, JIT, existing products and processes, and others as appropriate.
7. Performs day-to-day personnel functions with respect to the plant and maintain security and safety standards.
8. Prepares periodic production reports of the plant operations and maintain updated operational standards and process sheets.
9. Meets with other managers to develop long and short-range plans, programs, and production objectives.
10. Performs duties of primary Emergency Coordinator as outlined in the E.P.A. contingency plan for plant.
11. Responsible for the maintenance and administration of production systems.
12. Plans and prepares department budgets.
13. Carries out employee relations policies as established by upper management and handles employee and employee relations problems.
14. Recommends the promotion, compensation, evaluation and/or termination of department personnel.
15. Assists in the development and implementation of Manufacturing Executions Systems (MES) to support production. Coordinates ongoing Production requirements for the MES.
16. Assists with technology transfer assuring consistency of process and quality standards.
17. Reviews and improves yield with Production Supervisors and engineering support.
18. Serves as Location Senior Manager to insure compliance of ISO 9000 goals where required.
19. Carries out special projects as defined by upper management.

Job Specifications
Successful candidate will possess at least 10 years of related Production management experience especially in capacitor industry.
Deep understanding and rich field experience in lean manufacturing is necessary.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Oracle experience preferred.
