1. Job Summary
Performing internal quality control and audit and conducting day-to-day quality engineering tests as required. Focus on test and tape operation and expands to assembly operations based on the project transfer plan

2. Duties and responsibilities
1) Support QA manager to prepare and execute quality related activities to ensure smooth transfer from Syfer UK facility
2) Conduct internal audits in all areas of manufacturing and support as required.
3) Maintain an understanding of the International Standards to which Syfer is certified.
4) Maintain a detailed knowledge of processes used in Syfer’s Management Systems such as documentation control and control of nonconforming product.
5) Assist in day-to-day activities such as quality issues raised by Production and / or as directed by the Quality Section Head or nominee.
6) Perform physical, mechanical, electrical and inspection activities when required.
7) Provide assistance to investigate, generate and implement corrective / preventative actions required to solve problems encountered in the above activities.
8) Demonstrate strong numeracy and literacy skills including report writing.
Promptly notify Quality Manager and other relevant staff of any product / process or service deficiency likely to result in damage to the Quality image of the company.
9) Liaise with suppliers and customers in connection with quality matters.
10) Liaise with Production engineers to ensure any quality related matters are resolved in a timely manner.
Work independently and using initiative to resolve issues and solve problems.
11) Undertake all other reasonable tasks that will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.
12) Ensure a smart and professional image is maintained in all dealings with customers, suppliers and any other outside contact.


3. Job Specifications
1) Bachelor degree major in Chemistry or Engineering etc.;
2) 3+ years previous working experience in QA area
3) Has experience with MLCC production is preferred
4) Familiar with 6 sigma, SPC, DOE and FMEA, etc.
5) Proficiency in English writing and speaking.
6) Skilled Microsoft Office software.
