职位描述
Post Specifications and Main duties:
1. Assists with the development of the employee relationship programme that includes performance development plans and employee development schemes.
2. Assists with the establishment of an in-house employee training system that addresses staff training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation or on boarding, function cross-training and the measurement of training impact.
3. Assists management with the selection and contracting of external training programs and consultants.
4. Provides necessary education and materials to employees including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks, and standardized reports.
5. Maintains employee training records.
6. Assists with the development of Human Resources policies for the University with regard to employee relations.
7. Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
8. Participates in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
9. Advises managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company. Counsels managers on employment issues.
Personal Qualifications:
1. General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
2. Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
3. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
4. Effective oral and written communication, both in Chinese and English.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with ability to manage and coordinate a variety of administration tasks in a busy office environment.
Education and Experience:
1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent.
2. Two to three plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
3. Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
4. Knowledge or experience of HR system is a plus.
