Job Description
As a process engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing production processes and methods in accordance with cost, lead time, quality, safety and environment.
This position reports to technical manager:
Main missions:
1.Responsible for powder metallugry process and process development
2.Responsible for setup/commissioning machines related Bi-layer production such as Powder mixing, sieving , granulator , Crusher , die-compaction, Sintering, calibrating , infiltration etc. and tools design
3.Define manufacturing means with associated specifications and investment cost in collaboration with purchasing department, production department and project engineer.
4.Search technical solutions and suppliers in order to meet industrialization and/or process improvement needs with in collaboration with purchasing, production and R&D departments.
5.Define and validate process parameters. Define and validate product routine sheets in collaboration with project engineer for new products, continuous improvement such as productivity and reduction of non-quality costs).
6.Define and manage timing plan for any new manufacturing equipment from specification writing to the final qualification and acceptation of production mean at Metalor plant.
7.Make investment request (Ecapex) including return of investment calculation.
8.Realize internal and external tests to work out technical solutions
9.Cost calculation and review for NPI projects via proper BOM and Routine as well as work center
10.Assess project risks ( new project or modifications)
11.Creating and optimizing work instructions for production(SOP)
12.Maintaining Bill of material and production routine
13.Supporting project management to achieve the goal
14.Other tasks assigned by technical manager

Requirements
1.Bachelor degree in powder engineering , metal material or relevant
2.Recorded experiences in manufacturing process development for at least eight years
3.Know how in bi-layer process is a plus
4.Solid works or CAD experience at least 3 years
5.Required skills:
- Bilingual skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
