Objectives
Work as part of R&D team to develop and sustain complex embedded hardware & firmware for new and existing Air conditioning, refrigeration and humidification applications.

Job Contents
Define requirements and create design / test specifications for all design work undertaken in accordance with the defined project management framework and guidelines, on time, cost and quality standard defined; serves as a technical reference for products/ parts of project assigned; resolve complex design and manufacturing problems; technically managing components homologation; transfer experience and skills to collegues (work closely with the HQ Hw & Fw competence centre and perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements:
-at least 2 year specific experience.
Experience and knowledge in the following areas of electronic hardware and firmware design:
- Microprocessor 8/16/32 bit (single chip or ROMless) experiences are must
- Experiences on analog and digital basic and advanced are must (analog and digital signal conditioning, filtering and sensor inputs, analog and digital outputs, switching power supplies, drivers for different motors, LED/LCD/graphical user interfaces with backlight, optoelectronics, hardware communication interfaces);
- Good C programming skills for programming embedded microcontrollers and creating software test harnesses for the testing of hardware designs are must;
- Experiences in Verification and Validation process is a must;
- Experiences of design for manufacture(DFM) and design for test(DFT) is a must
- Experiences of FMEA and MTBF calculation are advantageous;
- Experience in the use of design/simulation tools, Zuken CR5000/Spice would be advantageous.
- Contribute to deliver optimized and cost effective products and PCB designs are a must;
- Application of relevant EMC and safety, and understanding of outside body approval requirements VED, UL, CQC etc is a must;
- In-circuit and functional test specification, development, debug and maintenance are big advantages;
- Understanding of the constraints imposed on the design and component selection by long product lifetimes and components obsolescence/homologation issues are a must;
- Experience in HVAC industry is big advantageous.
