1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Powder Metal or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a design powder metal product that include design tools, adaptors, fixtures and process. Individual must skillful to use Solidworks or Pro-E software and has more experience for powder metal manufacturing.
3. Evaluate or redesign products for customers to use P/M technology
4. Choose and evaluate the powder material for the products
5. Design tools, adaptors and fixtures for the products
6. Establish manufacturing process and determine the cost of the process and solve technical problems in the process
7. Fulfill related QC documents and procedures of TS16949 including inspection records.
8. Test new equipments, test new process and adjust the tools of the new product
9. Implement continuous improvement programs to reduce cost, to ensure qualified production, and to improve manufacturing efficiency
10. Provide technical support for market development and secondary machining and enter the routing of new programs into QAD system and provide training for operators
