THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
1. Ensure that the materials, products and services needed are well managed in alignment with AAES procurement policy.
2. Searching and managing suppliers for ongoing and implemented projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- In collaboration with manufacturing and R&D team, execute sourcing plan to ensure on time delivery of all required materials and services.
- Ensure communication and cooperation with manufacturing, R&D, quality/SQE and service people within the whole organization.
- Monitor the delivery of all purchase orders to be in line with project schedule
- Enquiry and conduct technical clarification or coordination with vendor, if required.
- Handle disputes between suppliers and internal customer, work together with the SQE and suppliers on corrective actions and take measure for preventive action.
- Continuously looking for savings opportunities while ensuring company quality standards, delivery time and speed
- Source right local vendor and proceed with pre-qualification to establish AVL list.
- Minimize contract risk in consolidation with legal consultant.
- To define and monitor adequate performance indicators related to purchasing metrics, including cost, quality and reliability.
- To negotiate and monitor buying contracts for materials, services with suppliers
- To analyze and evaluate sourcing information in domestic markets
- Propose savings plans and manage purchasing process according to budget
- Propose and implement appropriate measures in case of deviation from the plan or from forecast
- Be the window person for assigned categories and projects
- Able to develop supplier base in a continuous way

Job requirements:
- Good bilingual communication and interpersonal, supplier relationship and supplier management skills
- Minimum 8 years purchasing experience preferably in commodity like sheet metal ( including tool-making), welding, casting and machining.
- International team work, Self starter, proactive, high quality standards, reliable, trustworthy, cost conscious, basic financial knowledge
- Graduated in Uni. majored in a field of engineering related
- Project management skills is a plus
- Hands-on attitude and capability
- Know-how of Q-tools
