I. Job description:

1. New supplier’s evaluation and selection process together with purchasing and project team, conduct the related audit to certify the supplier.
2. Coordinate with R&D and supplier to make a review for drawing, technical specification, as well as the previous quality background to make sure supplier understand the quality/technical requirement clearly.
3. Be responsible for new parts quality issues corrective actions driving and supplier PPAP review and achieve into the public folder after final approval.
4. Be responsible for the daily supplier quality issue and make sure supplier response on time and update the status to the related FAB colleagues.
5. Monitor supplier performance together with purchasing colleagues.
6. Be responsible for supplier audit including the quality system and process audit to make sure suppliers compliance to the requirement of Formel Q 7.0 or VDA 6.3.
7. Deal with the non-conforming purchasing parts from IQC or production line, lead the analysis and give solutions (i.e., reject, or rework, or deviation…). If necessary lead the trial assembly for the final decision of the non-conforming purchasing parts.
8. Other tasks superior arranges temporarily.

II. Qualifications Required:
a) Education:
university degree: Mechanical engineering and manufacturing
b) Practical experience:
Required: More than 3 years of practice in quality related, 2 years practice in supplier quality management of automobile industry.
c) Knowledge:
Familiar with ISO/TS 16949 and AIAG Manuals (PPAP、SPC、FMEA，APQP，MSA);
Computer skills e.g. MS-office;
Fluent in English both writing and spoken;
Good social and communication skills;
Internal auditor is preferred.

The Company

Established as FAB in 1911, the company started with an initial manufacturing program covering door locks for the building industry, including mortise and furniture locks and associate fittings.

In 1958 the product portfolio was expanded to locks and keys for the automotive industry. Since then the company has gradually become an exclusive supplier of cylinder locks to vehicle manufacturers in former Czechoslovakia, as well as supplying components to OEMs in many other countries.

In 1996 the company joined the Swedish-Finnish ASSA ABLOY Group, allowing it to be member of an established group of companies which specialized in the field of high security door opening solutions. The company’s extensive experience in the development and production of vehicle access components and systems was further enhanced in 2007 by the acquisition of CE Marshall Ltd., the leading U.K. supplier of lock systems for cars and light commercial vehicles.

Following the path of globalization of its customers, the company expanded its global footprint by establishing new plants and local customer support teams in China and Mexico. Growing demand on solutions that provided further improved security and more comfort triggered the company to move on to more sophisticated electronic vehicle access & control solutions, such as remote keyless entry and passive entry/go systems, and respective components.

From Oct. 1st 2016 the company has been under the ownership of the Japanese ALPHA Corporation, one of the leading global automotive industry suppliers in vehicle access and control.
