Reports to the Casting Operation Manager
Responsible for implementing machines & process to produce aluminum structural and safety parts for the auto industry.
Start production; qualify parts, and the manufacturing process.
Provide technical support to production to meet customer requirements
To develop standard operating procedures and training kits to support stable operation and quality safety performance
Improving equipment capacity, capability and personnel performance
Problems solving and improvement on site
To be responsible for on-site casting scrap analysis and reduction
To be involved in new casting program
Others as plant manager assigned

Academic:
Engineering degree in metallurgy, materials and mechanical Engineering; Advanced degree preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in aluminum foundry or casting plant.
Prior aluminum wheel casting and / or aluminum structural casting experience desired, focus on cast and melt.
Needs hands on experience in casting troubleshooting and defect analysis, and experience or being familiar with mold design.
Needs in-depth knowledge of raw materials, melting, metal handling, low pressure casting machines and casting process, and metallurgy.
Self-motivation, team spirit and working under pressure
Good communication skills
