Job Description:

• To source for quality products to achieve targeted cost savings
• Meet with vendors on a regular basis to develop relationship, drive for targeted cost savings and improvements to terms and conditions
• Co-ordinate vendor related issues such as quality, shipping and order etc with SSG team and UK/US BUs
• Work and communicate with US and European based Product & Vendor Managers
• Enhance product offerings through analysis of competitors, customer feedback,web search data, supplier info by country and region
• Create product strategy for the business by liaising and working with all business units and market segments
• Work across APAC regions managing and developing suppliers relationship
• Identify & recommend potential & new products & suppliers to Business units’ Product Managers
• To work with suppliers to ensure that new product is available and expedited to the markets
• To develop and manage close working relations with Product Managers and to schedule the delivery of product to meet new catalogue and promotion deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics / Business / Materials Management with at least 2 years of relevant sourcing or purchasing function.
• A-Level graduate with minimum 5 years of relevant experience would also be considered.
• Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
• A good communicator, both written and orally, fluent in English & Mandarin, with a sound commercial acumen. Able to communicate effectively at all levels with internal colleagues, customers and suppliers
• Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to take ownership, prioritize work-loads and make decision.
• Positive – Can do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast- paced environment
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills
