Job Specification

1.Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering , or the equivalent certification with an exposure to industry and relevant professional experience.
2.At least 6 years working experience in an electronics, automated and high volume manufacturing environment.

3.Strong assembly fixtures, including auto, semi-auto and manual, design experience.
4.Should have a good understanding of machinery fabrication.
5.Should have a basic understanding of rapid prototyping techniques to expedite the fabrication of designs to support production.

6.Knowledge of electrical control and pneumatic control is a plus.
7.Strong Knowledge in Pro/Engineer and Pro/ Intralink/ Windchill is required.
8.Must be innovative and have a general creative flair and able to identify and act upon problem solving.
9.Able to communicate effectively and work with outside tooling suppliers to fabricate the tools he/she designs.
10.Possess CET-4 certificate or above, excellent oral and written English skills required.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.Clarify and document the technical and functional requirements of tooling/fixture activity orders for precision assembly or inspection processes;
2.Complete the concept design with 3-D models for design review purpose;
3.Conduct design review meetings to verify the concept with the aid of 3-D models vs. the requirements together with colleagues in design, AME or other departments;
4.Complete the detailed design drawings for the fabricated tooling, fixtures or equipment;
5.Make sure that the completed tooling/fixtures/equipment will meet the intended purposes for product
6.Support the fabrication suppliers or internal tool makers to complete the tooling fabrication successfully.
