Key Account Manager to Scandinavian Company in Suzhou
Our client is a listed company that manufactures and assembles metal and plastic components for customers in telecom and automotive industries. The company is now looking for a Key Account Manager who can work together with the existing Sales organization in order to develop and manage sales to a large customer within the Mobile/Telecom industry.
The role/responsibility
Some responsibilities include:
? Managing activities related with the assigned customer including identifying sales opportunities, preparing calculations and quotations, monitoring project status, internal problem solving etc
? Coordinating internal resources in order to meet project time plans and customer’s requirements
? Building strong relations and trust within the customer’s organization and continuously widening the network
? Responsible for sales budget, forecast, AR, COGS and customer’s liabilities
? Continuously re-evaluating the strategy for approaching the customer in order to maximize opportunities
Experiences and personal qualities
? At least 3 years experience in a Key Account Management position within the hi-tech/telecom industry
? Good knowledge of precision machined metal or plastic components is an advantage
? Bachelor’s degree required. Major in Engineering and business administration or other equivalent education
? Proven track record for account management, sales operation and implementation
? High drive and pro-active personality with strong negotiation skills and high ethics
? Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence all levels of the internal and external organization cross functionally
? Experience of working in a multi-national company and experience of working with different cultures
? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, knowledge of Japanese is an advantage
