Qualification

1.Bachelor degree or above, candidates are expected to be from Europe or US, with working experience at China before.
2.At least 5 years purchasing related exp., capability to interface with Chinese Suppliers
3.Excellent negotiation, co-ordination, analytical and teamwork skills
4.Experienced in written and verbal communication in English, preferably able to speak Chinese also
5.Skilled in ERP system, preferred in SAP
6.Open, honest, precise and curious

Job Responsibilities

1.Constant generation of ideas to improve Purchasing process;
2.Continue meetings with Sourcing Development Engineers in order to identify - for new products - demands, prices, schedules, and procurement needs in order to meet clients demands;
3.Focus on constant improvements to his departments processes and work flow;
4.Lead all employees within the department to achieve individual goals;
5.Actively contribute to the vendor evaluation process, with an effective vendor evaluation schedule and disciplined follow up of vendor status criteria;
6.Negotiate pricing and terms with all vendors, and set guidelines so that the Purchasing team has a clear understanding of Purchasing parameters and processes as negotiated;
7.Apply the best rules in order to reduce inventory while satisfying customers’ requirements through accurate inventory/usage data analysis and effective vendor stock solutions;
8.Work in a safe manner by adhering to all Company Health and Safety policies and legislated regulations;
9.Assist in the preparation and management of the departmental budget;
10.Actively evaluating in the hiring, training, evaluating, supervising and terminating of the department personnel;
