The position is with relevant experience in managing innovative consumer products during NPI and sustaining phase. This position has high value and visibility within jawbone’s procurement organization. Major deliverables include costand program management, and supply chain optimization.

Responsibilities:
Manage the CTB process with contract manufacturers and internal organizations by insuring material availability for development and mass production product schedule.
Work with the CM on all identified material issues and drive resolution.
Ensure material availability for engineering builds consistent with program timelines.
Transition material procurement for new products to production.
Consult with commodity managers to align supplier/commodity selection for new products.
Maintain cost bill of material and drive product cost target.
Support supplier selection activities in assigned geography.
Maintain accurate and timely data in procurement systems.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience/qualifications in electronic commodities (particularly in ear-phones, speakers, smart phone and tablet computer) preferred.
At least 3 years’ experience in supplier management is a must
Minimum 5 years solid materials management experience
Strong leadership and project management skills
Have good command of the English language & MS office software, familiar with NetSuite or arena is preferred
Strong work ethics.
Effective communications skills.
Persistent, goal/deadline driven work style
