Our forensic specialists provide solutions and support for clients throughout Asia. We provide expert evidence and advice in legal proceedings and our investigations provide a unique approach incorporating the use of forensic technology. Time and time again our expertise has made a real difference in the outcome of an investigation, claim or dispute.

The Forensic Technology Solutions (FTS) team captures, consolidates and interrogates massive volumes of structured (e.g. financial systems) and unstructured data (e.g. forensic images of laptops). We are at the forefront of providing cutting edge, data-driven expertise in support of complex litigation cases and business issues, allowing our clients and their counsel to make informed and strategic decisions.

Job Description & Responsibilities:
You would assist in the day to day running of investigation and litigation support assignments in mainland China and across Asia for both local and multinational clients.
As a Senior Associate working within FTS, your primary role will be to leverage your strong technical skills on a variety of Computer Forensics, eDiscovery or Data Analytics projects, reporting to Managers to provide clear and concise details of progress and findings.
Joining our team provides the opportunity to work on exciting projects in a variety of industries. Your primary areas of responsibility will focus on:

• Forensically obtaining data from computers, servers and mobile devices, ensuring the evidential integrity of the data is maintained and not compromised;
• Performing in-depth forensic analysis, data recovery and normalization of data in preparation for review by investigators or legal counsel;
• Using SQL, Oracle and other database platform to aid data interrogation and investigations;
• In-depth quantitative analysis and summarization of complex transactional data;
• Drafting reports and presentations to explain our findings;
• Researching new products, tools and techniques to assist with streamlining internal processes and methods of presenting results to clients; and
• Consulting with clients on business issues, often explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical people.

Reporting to: Managers, Senior Managers
Reporting Staff: Associates

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related subject;
• EnCase Certification or similar forensics qualifications is preferred;
• Minimum 3 year's relevant IT experiences with professional firm, or computer forensic experience including EnCase;
• Experience in forensic imaging and analysis of computer data;
• Experience in setting up and utilizing e-Discovery tools;
• Strong desire to learn and willingness to share knowledge;
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision, but integrate well into teams;
• Ability to ensure excellent technical quality and timeliness of client deliverables;
• Creative problem-solving ability and a consulting mindset;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with both management and clients; and
• Fluency in English and Mandarin both spoken and written is essential.
