Position Location: Intematix Shenzhen / Shanghai
General Purpose/Objectives:
Business owner of Intematix Phosphor and Chromalit products in mainland China. Direct approach customers to ensure Intematix sockets in major design and production wins. Support daily operations with major distributors in the region. Has knowledge of LED/SSL products, fully understand the supply chain of lighting industry from LED package to SSL fixtures. Key driver of business including direct accounts and indirect accounts via distributions.
Support sales analysis, sales planning and key customer analysis to ensure substainable business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through technical and business approach.
· Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in their needs.
· Understand role of company’s phosphor products in customers’ applications
- Products’ photoluminescent properties
- Products’ photoluminescent compatibility with each other, and in potential applications
- Products’ chemical compatibility with each other and in potential applications (i.e. encapsulants)
· Build and manage relationships with key customer contact persons (both direct and indirect customers)
· Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
· Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
· Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interest, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
· Maintain proper knowledge of all technical work at the company
· Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Required Qualifications:
· Graduate Degree Electronics, Chemistry/Material or related Science degree with at least 10 years industry experience in SSL/LED. (Phd is an added advantage)
· Experience with phosphor materials and LED lighting
· Demonstrated aptitude of phosphor and ChromaLit sales
· Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
· Good written and verbal communication skills with customers
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and necessary applications
· Proficient in Putonghua, Chinese, English, or other local China dialects.
