POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in accounting
Must Fluency in English: Spoken, written & comprehension
Must understand VAT process and operations
Knowledge of Chinese GAAP, tax & statistical reporting
Oracle or other MRP system software and manufacturing cost accounting experience preferred
Remark:This position need to do all accountant relevant duties by self,no subordinate.
GENERAL ACCOUNTING:
Accounts receivable: Customer invoicing, payment application to customer accounts
Accounts payable processing: vouchering, preparation of bank transfers for payment approval
Cashier functions-petty cash system
Payroll processing-coordinate with third party processor
Plant departmental expense reporting including variance analysis
Month end closing: Preparation and posting of journal entries, general ledger account analyses and reconciliations, bank reconciliations, corporate month end reporting requirements
Year-end closing activities and processes including preparation of required adjustments for US GAAP reporting
Preparation and filing of all required tax and statistical reporting including VAT, income tax, payroll taxes, social insurance, housing fund, retirement fund, etc.
All government reporting
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Capital expenditure requests preparation and capital spending analysis
Primary contact with the local statutory auditors including coordination of the annual audit process.
Primary contact with the Hope Global corporate accounting group
COST ACCOUNTING:
Maintenance of the product standard cost system as required.
Knowledge of Bills of Material, Routings and material transaction processing in the
Oracle system.
Coordination of the periodic plant physical inventories including process control, posting of results, reporting & analysis.
Cost of goods sold posting and journal entry to re-distribute by product line.
Purchase Price Variance analysis and adjusting journal entries.
Inventory Accrual analysis.
Comparison of general ledger inventory to perpetual inventory values and monthly adjusting journal entries.
Miscellaneous other monthly journal entries.
