Job description:
1 Sourcing of raw material (in particular steel, sometimes also plastic and other materials)
2 Sourcing of chain single parts
3 Responsibility for external suppliers for the surface treatment (painting, chroming, black oxidizing)
4 Establish and maintain a good supplier base. Always look out for new alternative suppliers with better products and conditions.
5 Contract terms negotiations, in particular price, delivery time, payment terms, etc.
6 Ensure the parts are in place according to the schedule
7 Support of other departments to solve all problems in relation to suppliers.
8 Other tasks assigned by the purchasing manager

Education and Skills:
1 Bachelor degree or above in technical engineering or metallurgy
2 at least 3 years of corresponding professional and qualified purchasing experience / supply chain management, metal, chain or related industry is preferred
3 Fluent English in speaking/reading/writing
4 Advanced skills in Office-Software (especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook), SAP knowledge is an advantage
5 Well structured, organized, efficient and accurate working method
6 Personality: Good team work, passion, stability and visionary thinking
7 Readiness to do overtime in high seasons
8 Non smoker or can bear not to smoke during working times
