A) Requirements

1. Strong negotiation and communication skills
2. Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications for electronics components, plastics and metal parts, etc.
3.Familiar with suppliers in China in EMS industries, and know the price range and purchasing channel of those material, eg, PCB, transformer, cable, connector, LED, electronics components, plastics, metal etc
4.ERP knowledge is must
5.Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

B) Job Function

1. Supports all new business quoting activity and follow up and work out competitive RFQ in a timely manner
2. Support interface between Asian suppliers and the IKOR group purchasing teams to components alternative during resourcing and new supplier launches
3. Identify and develop potential suppliers, ensure they are assessed and selected in line with company expectation on quality, cost, cycle time, productivity, flexibility and services.
4. Conduct supplier assessments and evaluations, maintain the supplier scorecard and performance metrics in ERP system.
5. Achieve cost reduction and payment term improvement target by identifying new qualified suppliers or optimizing the cost level of existing supplier or VA/VE together with other department.
6. Support Chinakor plants on major critical supplier issues, ensure timely implementation of permanent corrective actions.
7. In the Pinwin system, release PO and PO execution - to confirmation, past due PO review, payment issue for pre-series .
8. Pull in shortage to meet production schedule for pre-series.
9. Follow up supplier on time delivery with correct document - invoice, packing list on pre-series stage for pre-series .
10. Reschedule PO -- pull in / push out/ cancel according to business department 's instruction for pre-series.
11. Ensure the ISO requirements are established, executed and maintained according to ISO 9001, TS16949 and ISO14001standard.
APPLICANT PROFILE

IKOR was established in 1981 in San Sebastian (Spain). It is essentially dedicated to design and manufacture electronic circuits and equipment for industrial markets, requiring custom-made systems for their products. IKOR contributes with know-how and added value to high quality product, ranging form the design and industrialization of the product to total integration in the client’s strategy.

Its products are widely used in the manufacturing automobile and white goods industries, including electronic locks, induction stoves, testing equipment, precision on-line measuring instrument, elevation lifts and vertical transportation control systems, etc.

In its 20 years of existence, the annual training plan for all departments of the company guarantees an up-to-date knowledge of electronics technology and the latest management and quality techniques in use, thus obtaining the best value of the company and the human team.

IKOR has taken the challenge of internationalization and exports its technology and products to foreign markets. In 1998, it opened a plant (MEXIKOR) in Guadalajara (Mexico) that covers 1,200 square meters with a daily production capacity of 250,000 units, quickly adopting the same degree of automation, flexibility and quality as IKOR in Spain.

Recognizing the importance of the Asian market, especially the advantage of China, IKOR has decided to establish a company called CHINAKOR, which is under construction in Suzhou Industrial Park. It will occupy an area of 13,000 square meters and will have a staff of more than 300. The construction of the factory has been finished by April, 2006. When settled up, CHINAKOR will become IKOR’s manufacturing center of Asia.
