职位描述
Purpose of Position:
l Provide Management and direction to PQE's, Test Lab, Cleanliness Lab, Chemical Lab, Gauge Calibration
l To support Manufacturing / Production in all Quality Related Activities
l Provide an analysis and audit function for Manufacturing / Production and own activities
l Maintain spend and Quality Costs within budget
Key Responsibilities:
l Provide direction, support and guidance to all reporting functions
l Manage on a daily basis all reporting functions
l Where appropriate set targets / objectives for reporting functions
l Ensure that the requirements relating to the QMS are followed
l Develop and maintain in conjunction with QMS dept. schedules for Product and Process audits
l Collating and analyzing performance data and charts and developing improvement plans where necessary
l Determine and provide suitable measurable for departmental performance which match the overall plant objectives
l Provide departmental summary data for management reporting
l To ensure that all related documentation required to support production is planned and available at the required time
l Build up the relevant Quality functions to meet Internal and External requirements
l To provide feedback to the relevant own departments regarding performance
l Should ensure that employee workplaces are organized in a way to meet the EHS requirements
l Should maintain department spending according to budget
l need train and coach the subordinates.
l succession planning: develop local successors for superiors.
Required Knowledge:
l conversant with automotive manufacturing practices and systems
l statistical techniques(SPC)
l Measurement techniques and good understanding in drawing requirements
l problem solving methods and tools i.e. Six Sigma, Minitab, 8D, fishbone, CEDAC, DMAIC etc.
l Qualified Auditor or at least very conversant with VDA6.3/ TS16949 / Quality Management Systems
Required Experiences:
l Bachelor qualified in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent in Quality Management
l Have worked in a Quality environment for a minimum of three years in a leading role
l Experience working within an automotive manufacturing environment"
l Good statistical and numeric skills
l Should have demonstrated capability in a supervisory role within the Quality field
l Excellent interpersonal skills and used to Japanese and European business behavior
l Fluent in the English language and writing
Able to speak German would be an advantage"
