Repuirement:

-Experience developing new products and product specifications; working with production plants to scale-up and introduce new products.

-Familiar with using CAD software such as Pro E

-Familiarity with electronic packaging

-Knowledge of electrical products

-Familiarity with project management and manufacturing scale-up preferred.

-Familiar with engineering design and use of design rules.

-Familiar with injection molding, extrusion, welding, metal fabrications, pressure glands, electric power terminations and connections.

-Excellent project planning and execution skills. Must be a team player with strong communications and interpersonal skills.

-Preference for experience in multinational companies and managing product development activities using cross functional teams and stage gate processes.

-Excellent Written and Verbal Communication

-Microsoft tools: Project, SharePoint, Visio, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Communicator

-Must have strong English language skills, both spoken and written

Responsibility:

-Develop new products, applications, and market offerings suitable for Global applications

-Adapt existing North American and European based products for application in Asia Pacific.

-Develop technological improvements in product capabilities, quality and reliability.

-Provide technical support to the local manufacturing operation

-Provide technical support to marketing, sales, and operations

-Understand and monitor competitive product offerings and conduct competitive testing

-Be an active technical team member in the design review process

-Engineer products to meet the local codes, standards ad approvals

-Provide external technical leadership through published papers, seminars and active participation in codes, standards and approval committees

-Provide technical support for sourcing initiatives
