Job Requirements:

1.College education in related mechanical or engineering sectors.
2.Five years of related Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive experience.
3.Quality engineer or manufacturing engineer in die casting/machining/plastics/stamping facility is preferred.
4.Computer literate.
5.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both oral and written English.
6.Reading of Blueprint printing, inspection and measurement philosophy.
7.Strong negotiation skills and organizational skills.
8.Thorough knowledge of quality and manufacturing tools such as SPC, FMEA, control plans, poke yoke, pareto analysis, cause and affect analysis, fishbone diagrams, PPAP, root cause analysis.
9.General knowledge of TS16949, certified internal TS16949 auditor preferred.
10.Be familiar with casting, machining, stamping, plastic molding, power metal, ball bearing manufacturing processes.

Job Description:

1.Conduct supplier evaluations focusing on all aspects: supplier capabilities, on-time delivery, responsiveness, quality, diagnostic record and stability of finished goods inventory.
2.Champion of assigned supplier development initiatives and actively manage the development of new suppliers through our PSO process.
3.Assist in the development and maintenance of a supplier manual.
4.Work with suppliers for root cause analysis of supplier non-conforming product.
5.Responsible for the verifications of supplier's process.
6.Management of assigned supplier corrective actions e.g. SRS, DMR.
7.Impose and monitor Level 1 and Level 2 containment of suppliers where necessary.
8.Work with all Litens team members in the essences of continual improvement.
9.Participate in the supplier selection process.
10.Develop and maintain relationships with both the customer and supplier.
11.Provide supplier training as required to improve supplier performance ratings.
12.Provide monthly supplier ratings to all suppliers.
13.Support all APQP activities as per Litens APQP requirements.
14.Ensure customer specific requirements are adhered to.
15.Frequent travel is a requirement of this position.
