职位描述
Major Responsibilities:
1. Supplier management, project management, product improvement, negotiate cost down initiatives, working capital improvement, payment term improvement & lead time reduction
2. Negotiate & implement supplier qualification: Supplier Identification, Profile, Social accountability, Supplier Quality & Contract Manufacturing Agreement (CMA), Tooling management, Product Development as well as supplier relationships
3. Source potential supplies & vendors, and prepare RFI, RFP, RFQ and evaluate supplier proposals, follow the standard global sourcing process
4. Work with suppliers in developing cost structure, quote & negotiate tooling & component pricing
5. Develop, execute and support strategic sourcing plan to improve service, quality, and total cost of ownership
6. Work with Suppliers and Quality Engineers in developing Product Quality Plan, In-process control plan Capacity/Lead Time Plan & Ramp-up plan to ensure smooth bulk production and continuous Quality DPMO reduction
7. Drive annual productivity through value improvement, process improvement & negotiations
8. Work closely with all functions (Engineering, marketing, operations, finance, legal logistics, IT, etc) to formulate, implement and execute sourcing and continuous improvement strategies
9. Continuously look for opportunities to improve the quality of our products, to avoid warranty claims, customer dissatisfactions
10. Forecast & solve all the difficulties & critical issues in the process and proactively coordinate with customers and vendors including packaging, quality, engineering changes etc.
11. Regularly collect related products, pricing & supplier information , explode business opportunities and to generate new ideas in the Asian market, and also effectively manage and maintain good relationship with suppliers & customers to establish and maintain the supplier and product database
12. Maintain broad knowledge of worldwide market trends for assigned product groups
Qualifications-Knowledge and Skills:
- Good product knowledge market trends in the related product Industries, e.g.
CPT/PPT/IAR- general electrical/ pneumatic power tool etc ; Component- casting, motor components
- Good knowledge of sourcing techniques & strategies, negotiating vendor, managing inventories, value-added vendor benefits
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful YOY productivity projects & supplier development
- Excellent English communication and local language, able to communicate with people from worldwide & local vendors
- Good problem solving skills, project management, negotiation, interpersonal communication skills
- Good understanding of ISO & TQM
- Self-motivated and possess ability to handle / prioritize multiple tasks
- Six sigma training or certified is highly preferable
- With ability to interpret mechanical drawing (Pro-E, AutoCad, Solidworks etc) is desirable
- SAP, Ariba, Protrack, Metastorm, enterprise planning software experience is desirable
- CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) is desirable
Education or Experience
- University or college graduated, master is preferred, BS in ME, metal material, electronic engineering related is highly preferable
- 5 + yrs solid sourcing experiences in the related industries (machining components & industrial products industry experience for PPT, Industrial, Security, Components) including understanding of manufacturing capabilities, production metrics, capacity planning & trouble shooting associated development and supply issues.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing/production (metal, electronic material) and quality experience required especially for CPT/PPT, Industrial, ,Security and Components (inspection, gaging, metrology, testing etc)
- Familiar with metal, non-metal market, manufacturing processes, incl. injection molding, diecasting, stamping, casting, machining, gearing, powder metal, heat treatment, motor manufacturing process & quality is highly desirable (especially for PPT, Industrial, and Components)
