Job Description


--As Product Manager China you will have the main responsibility for adopting the current our product (IP Camera) offering to the Chinese market as well as sourcing and defining new complementary products. The mission is to build a competitive product offering for the Chinese market.

--You will manage the entire product life cycle - from strategic planning to tactical activities. You will take lead to gather the needs for the Chinese market and to prioritize the different product needs. Examples are; software optimization for specific Chinese certifications, Chinese localization of our global product offering e.g. hardware-, firmware- or kit changes and sourcing/development of accessories especially for the Chinese market.

--As a product manager it is important to enjoy spending time in the market to understand their needs, and based on that specify solutions for the market. You must have broad experience from both business and technology, preferably from the video surveillance industry.

--You will work in a team and you must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work closely with the R&D organization in China, the sales organization in China and with the Global product management organization in headquarters. You will also work with the marketing department to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.



High level list of responsibilities;


--Excellent understanding of the competition and market needs

--Take an active part in market and sales activities to promote your products

--Inform and train the sales force at new product launches

--Define product strategy and roadmap for the Chinese market

--Define products to meet and fulfill the strategy and roadmaps

--Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals



Requirement:


--Minimum of 5 years experience as a product manager or other equivalent experience

--Excellent understanding of business and market dynamics

--Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

--Bachelor's degree

--Knowledgeable in technology

--Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.
