Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree
2. At least five years of practical experience in project management, especially in coordinating language services projects
3. Good knowledge of commonly used computer desktop applications and services (MS-Office, production application, Adobe Acrobat) and knowledge of computer translation tools (e.g. TRADOS)
4. Excellent written and spoken English, German and/or French - any additional language being a distinct advantage
5. High customer orientation
6. Managerial know-how and ability to coach and guide new or less experienced Project Coordinators
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Highly stress-resistant, high commitment and flexibility in order to meet tight deadlines, as well as very good structuring and planning skills in order to organize heavy workloads or complex project situations
9. Ability to demonstrate initiative as well as developed team spirit
Main Mission:
As a project Manager, you will take over the responsibility for all aspects of large projects in the public or private sector: initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing. You will ensure the overall project success with regard to constraints such as scope, time, cost, quality, risk and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Build up, coach and manage the project team in their daily work by KPI’s
2. Review and monitor client contracts and assist our Sales department in the quotation phase
3. Analyze and evaluate customer needs, develop new business opportunities at existing customers
4. Analyze the requested services, identify and check the needed production and translation tools
5. Identify the needed resources for the different workflow steps and book them in collaboration with the production team leaders and/or vendor manager
6. Set up the Project Quality Plan according to internal standards as well as customer requested quality standards
7. Supervise and monitor the project execution ensuring compliance to defined deadlines, costs, standards and methodology
8. Close the project by starting the invoicing as soon as the data are delivered and start the post calculation process
9. Execute the post-analysis of the project in discussion with the Service Manager to ensure the continuous improvement of the project standard
10. Handle customer complaints in collaboration with the Contract Manager, the Quality and Complaint Assistant
